“Atrium offers a great location, nice rooms and great beach”5 of 5 stars “I recently had my first stay at the Atrium Resort and was so pleasantly surprised. It is in a great location because you can walk to many quaint local places to eat with good and affordable food. You are also close to several fine dining choices as well. The property is well maintained, and that means a lot because oceanfront properties take a beating. The pool area was also just remodeled as well. I was impressed with housekeeping's thorough cleaning job. The room always smelled 100% fresh when we returned to the room. The bed/mattress I would rate very high. The quality of the mattress was like that of the Heavenly Beds at the Westin. There is a small private beach just beyond the pool that is wonderfully landscaped with Palm trees, tropical foliage and is very clean. They have clean restrooms and you can hear the music from the bar but it is not too loud - just enough to make you feel like you are on vacation. We visited several beaches and I really loved this little clean, quaint, beautiful spot right in front of the Atrium. The beach is on Simpson Bay so the other view you have is of wonderful sailboats and personal Mega yachts. So your view changes each day which is my husband's favorite part- that and frozen pina coladas in a beach chair. The 2 and 3 bedroom penthouses are huge. I could not believe the square footage. If you are hosting a crowd, I would try to book the penthouse if needed. They have 3 different decks , which is so nice for families wanting to spread out. I just got home and truly I can't wait to go back.”
